Machine Learning in Radiology

Synopsis:

The terms artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, or computer vision are mentioned increasingly often in the radiology community. In this talk, Dr. Mazurowski will talk about how these methods can be used in radiological clinical practice as well as how they can advance science by improving our understanding of cancer. The talk will be concluded with general thoughts on the future of the radiology profession in the advent of human-level artificial intelligence.

Speaker bio:

Dr. Mazurowski is an Associate Professor of Radiology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke University.
